Do you have an affinity for 4 weight fly rods?

I have 27 fly rods ranging from weights 1 to 8 but, my go to weight is a 4 weight. I use a 4 weight rod for most of my warmwater and coldwater fly fishing. Up until recently, I had three 4 weight rods from Orvis, Winston and St. Croix.
BUT...

Now I have a new favorite 4 weight fly rod. It's the Curtis Fleming "Fly Rod Chronicles" series fly rod from Temple Fork Outfitters. It loads like a dream and I like the 8'-9" length. I've fished it from the bank, wading, boat and kayak with no problems. If you're familiar with the TFO line of fly rods, I would put the action between the Finesse Series and Professional Series. If you get a chance, be sure and test cast this rod. Oh, one more thing; in my opinion, this is the "best looking" rod in the TFO line-up! The 5 weight is next on my rod purchase list.

Here is part of the description from the TFO website:

The translucent moss green blank is complemented by matching graphite inserts, gold up-locking reel seats, and gold accents. Reverse half wells grips on the 3-6 and full wells grips with fighting butts on the 7, 8 and 10.

Model: TF 04 89 4 FRC
Line: 4 wt.
Length: 8'-9"
Pieces: 4
Weight: 3.1 oz
Price: $199.95
